Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 19, 2026

1. Introduction and Scope

SouthernDry and its affiliated companies held under Vanterra Foundation Solutions (collectively, “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy describes our practices when you:

  • Visit our websites that link to this Policy
  • Interact with our social media pages
  • View or click our digital advertisements
  • Communicate with us via email, SMS/text, phone, or forms
  • Schedule or receive our services (collectively, the “Services”)

By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in this Policy. If you disagree, please discontinue use of our Services.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Contact Information: Name, email, phone, address
  • Service Information: Property details, service requests, appointment preferences
  • Payment Information: Processed securely through third-party providers
  • Communications: Content of emails, texts, chats, or feedback
  • Documentation: Photos, video, or recordings captured for service and marketing purposes

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect:

  • Device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system
  • Pages visited, referring sites, time on site, click patterns
  • Session data including interactions with forms and content
  • Approximate location based on IP address

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from:

  • Marketing and analytics partners
  • Identity resolution and audience matching services
  • Public records and property databases
  • Data enrichment providers

3. Technologies We Use

We employ various technologies to improve services and marketing effectiveness, including but not limited to:

  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies
  • Analytics and performance measurement tools
  • Advertising and marketing automation platforms
  • Session recording and interaction tracking
  • Identity resolution services

These technologies may recognize returning visitors and associate browsing activity with other information. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove specific technologies without updating this Policy, provided the fundamental use purposes remain consistent.

4. Call Recording and On-Site Documentation

4.1 Call Recording

We may record inbound and outbound calls for:

  • Quality assurance and training
  • Verification and documentation
  • Dispute resolution

By calling us or accepting our calls, you consent to recording. You will receive notice where legally required.

4.2 On-Site Documentation

Our technicians may capture photos, videos, or audio during service visits for:

  • Diagnostic and documentation purposes
  • Before/after comparisons
  • Training and quality control
  • Warranty and dispute resolution

By scheduling service, you consent to such documentation.

4.3 Marketing Use of Project Photos and Video

Showing real work is how we explain what we do. We use photos and video captured during inspections and service visits — including before-and-after comparisons of foundations, crawl spaces, basements, concrete, drainage, and the surrounding exterior — in our advertising and educational content.

By scheduling a free inspection, consultation, or service appointment, you grant SouthernDry a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use images, video, and audio captured in and around your property for marketing, advertising, social media, sales materials, training, and other public display, in any medium now known or later developed.

What we will not publish:

  • Your exact address, house number, or any identifier that pinpoints your property
  • Your name, phone number, or email address
  • Embedded location metadata (GPS coordinates are stripped from published files)
  • Recognizable images of you, your family, or other occupants, unless a separate written release has been signed
  • Images of anyone under 18, unless a parent or legal guardian has signed a separate written release
  • Personal documents, valuables, or security details visible in frame

We may reference the general market or region (for example, “a crawl space in Knox County, TN”) but never the specific property.

Declining marketing use. You may decline at any time, before or after your appointment, at no cost. It has no effect on your service, pricing, scheduling, or warranty. Tell your technician on site, or email [email protected]. On request we will stop all future use and remove published material we control within 30 days. Material already redistributed by others — a shared social post, a search engine cache — may persist outside our control.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and improve our services
  • Schedule appointments and communicate about services
  • Process payments and maintain records
  • Send service updates and appointment reminders
  • Provide customer support
  • Analyze and improve marketing effectiveness
  • Deliver targeted advertising on third-party platforms
  • Detect and prevent fraud
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Send promotional communications (with consent)

6. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number, you may receive:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Service updates, inspection notifications and follow-ups
  • Promotional offers, seasonal tips, and surveys

Important:

  • Reply STOP to opt out anytime. You will receive one final confirmation message of your opt-out.
  • Reply HELP for assistance
  • Message and data rates may apply
  • Consent not required for purchase
  • Frequency varies (typically 1-2 per service, occasional marketing)

Important: To stop receiving text messages you must reply STOP to the message thread. Contacting us by other means does not automatically remove you from SMS.

6.1 Mobile Opt-In Data

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing categories described in Section 7 exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or lease mobile phone numbers or SMS consent records. Your mobile number and opt-in status are disclosed only to the vendors that deliver messages on our behalf — our messaging platform, telecommunications carriers, and our customer records system — solely so we can send you the messages you requested. Those vendors are contractually prohibited from using the data for any other purpose. We may also disclose this data where required by law.

7. Information Sharing

We may share information with:

7.1 Service Providers

Trusted vendors who assist with operations, including but not limited to scheduling, customer service, hosting, analytics, and marketing.

7.2 Affiliated Brands

Within Vanterra Foundation Solutions for:

  • Service fulfillment in your area
  • Scheduling and operational efficiency
  • Centralized support and reporting

7.3 Advertising Partners

We provide limited data — typically hashed, non-readable versions of an email address or phone number, plus device and browser identifiers — to advertising platforms such as Google and Meta in order to:

  • Measure the performance of our own advertising
  • Deliver targeted and retargeted advertising for our services
  • Build audiences of people similar to our existing customers

Some state privacy laws describe this activity as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though we receive no money for it. It is not a sale, and these platforms cannot call, email, or text you on our behalf. You may opt out at any time — see Section 9.3.

7.4 Business Transfers

If we sell or transfer any part of our business, your personal information may be included as a business asset in that transaction. The new owner would be required to honor the commitments we’ve made in this Privacy Policy.

7.5 Legal Requirements

When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information. We do not exchange your personal information for money, and we do not provide it to unrelated third parties for their own marketing. We do “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as some state privacy laws define that term, in the limited way described in Section 7.3. You can opt out of that sharing at any time — see Section 9.3.

Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every sharing category described in this Section 7. We never transfer your SMS consent to any third party or affiliated brand, and no one other than us may text you on the basis of consent you gave us. We do not sell, rent, or lease mobile numbers, and we do not provide them to any third party for that party’s own marketing.

Where we provide identifiers to advertising platforms as described in Section 7.3, they are used only to measure our own advertising and to reach or model audiences for our own services. Those platforms cannot send you text messages, and receiving an identifier does not give them your messaging consent.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for:

  • Service delivery and warranty obligations
  • Legal and regulatory requirements
  • Business records and analytics
  • Fraud prevention
  • Honoring opt-out preferences (suppression lists maintained indefinitely)

9. Your Privacy Rights

9.1 State-Specific Rights

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and others) may have rights to:

  • Access personal information
  • Correct inaccuracies
  • Request deletion
  • Opt out of targeted advertising
  • Opt out of data sales/sharing
  • Non-discrimination for exercising rights

9.2 Submitting Requests

Contact us at:

We will verify identity before processing requests.

9.3 Opt-Out Options

Targeted Advertising and Sharing:

To stop us sharing your information for cross-context behavioral advertising, email [email protected] or call 888-698-1958 and ask to opt out of targeted advertising. No account is needed and we will not charge you or degrade your service.

Once we process your request we will:

  • Exclude your information from advertising audience uploads, including customer match and similar-audience lists
  • Flag any conversion or measurement data we send about you so the receiving platform may not reuse it for its own advertising purposes
  • Stop serving you retargeted advertising based on your activity on our sites

This opt-out is separate from unsubscribing. It does not stop appointment reminders, service updates, or other communications you have asked for, and it does not affect your email or SMS preferences. You may also limit advertising through your browser settings, your device privacy controls, and the ad preference tools offered by Google, Meta, and other platforms directly, though those act on our advertising only in part.

Marketing Communications:

  • Email: Unsubscribe link in emails
  • SMS: Reply STOP
  • Phone: Request during any call

Marketing Use of Project Photos and Video (see Section 4.3):

  • Tell your technician on site, before or during the visit
  • Email [email protected] at any time afterward
  • Declining does not affect your service, pricing, scheduling, or warranty

10. Cookies and Tracking

We and our partners use various tracking technologies. While we don’t currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, you can manage preferences through:

  • Browser cookie settings
  • Device privacy controls
  • Third-party opt-out mechanisms

11. Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. While no system is completely secure, we work to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

13. Third-Party Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

14. International Data Processing

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using our Services, you consent to such transfers.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. The “Last Updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Acknowledgment

By using our Site or providing your information, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions and consent to our practices as described.
